i jeszcze krótki komentarz:
Commenting on the awards, Alan Kidd, editor of Planet 4×4, said: ‚This is the most credible verdict ever handed down to the British 4×4 market. We recruited some of the country’s most respected vehicle testers and they examined each vehicle in real depth – these are results you can really believe in. ‚We’ve never been slow to criticise Land Rover and its products in the past. So it’s only fair to recognise the extent to which the Range Rover, Discovery and Range Rover Sport impressed the most experienced team of testers ever put together by a British 4×4 magazine.’
Testers were Alan Kidd (Editor); Bobby Cowling (Deputy Editor); Andy Pringle (former Deputy Editor of What Car?); Al Suttie (former Road Test Editor of What Car?). Testing was conducted over a week at Kirton Off Road Centre, near Scunthorpe, a former quarry recognised as one of Britain’s best 4×4 sites. Vehicles were assessed for 17 different criteria by each tester. These marks were weighted to take account of the importance placed on each by typical buyers; the single criterion attracting the highest score was value for money.
